Our Projects

The CAMH Discovery Fund aims to inspire hope by discovering the causes and cures of mental illness and improving outcomes for those affected, now and in the future. This video highlights some of the projects currently supported by the Discovery Fund, and how this transformative initiative has fostered the careers of CAMH scientists. It was produced by Heliopolis Productions and followed up on a video created 5 years ago when the projects started.

We worked with stroke experts on creating a script, finding the right tone, location where to film and editing. We ensured the video would be accessible and clear in its messaging.

Since 2021, Heliopolis Productions Ltd. has had the opportunity to edit videos filmed by youth aged 12-25. These videos explain what services are available in the Youth Wellness Hub Ontario (YWHO). These hubs are across the province of Ontario. We received footage from Timmins, Niagara Falls, Haliburton and more places in Ontario. We structured the videos, created the animated graphics, added music, titles and various effects. We also added captions in English and translated them to French or vice versa.

Since 2017, Heliopolis Productions Ltd. has filmed thousands of training sessions on construction sites. Training is usually attended by various stakeholders (engineers, maintenance staff, security staff, owners). It's conducted by the original manufacturer of the piece of equipment or by someone who is certified.

This video produced by Heliopolis Productions Ltd. for CAMH and CRISM provides versatile tools and strategies applicable to various vaccines. It helps enhance COVID vaccine confidence through motivational interviewing tools and provides strategies for service providers working with PWUD (People Who Use Drugs).

Heliopolis Productions Ltd. created this video for Pwa to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Friends for Life Bike Rally. It's a cycling celebration video which pays tribute to over two decades of cycling between Toronto and Montreal over 6 days to help raise funds for people living with HIV and AIDS. The video retraces some of the history and talk about the founders the ride. We filmed this video outdoors, using the Panasonic GH5 camera mounted on a Ronin S gimbal and finished all the editing with Apple's Final Cut Pro editing software.
